City Bike: It is a bicycle for buying food or it can
be a travel bicycle as well. Most of them do not have gears. It is for sell with complete
accessories. It has a lightweight and does not need to use much energy. When it is damaged,

Mountain Bike: An off-road designed bicycle for
riding on the mountain, rough pathways or dirt roads. It is stronger than any other bikes.

Road Bike: A bicycle suitable for riding on smooth

should not be too rough and too many potholes). It can be ride on the road. This type of
bike has flat, smooth tires.
Touring Bike: Travel bicycle similar to Road Bike.
The different is, it has an anchor for installing travel accessories. This type of bicycle
is strong and more heavy.
Tandem Bike: A bicycle for 2 people to ride together
at the same time. This kind of bicycle can be mostly seen at the beach and tourist
attraction.
Kids Bike: A minimized bicycle for kids. It has small
tires and spin faster.
Electric Bike An electric bike which has motor to
make the tires spin, when you feel like you don’t want to paddle. The disadvantages of the
bike: it is heavy because of the motor, battery and wires.
Fat Bike: A bicycle that has larger tires for special
riding such as sand, snow, mud and stone pathways. Larger tires can help the bike to stick
to the road better than normal tires. The tires are more flexible.
Electric Wheel: electric Wheel and Scooter for short
trips and not much speed. Used for enjoyment rather than exercise.
Equipment for
Cycling
Clothing: Cycling for exercise requires a
dress code. Especially the pants for cyclists should have a sponge or gel to relieve
pain for a long time. The fabric should be firm for agility and quick sweat. The
shirt should be tight and elastic especially at the neck, waistband and forearm. Zip
the front zipper to prevent wind to get into the body. Fabric must be well
ventilated.
Helmet: A
necessary equipment for safety. A good helmet must be designed to suit the bike
riding. Can be adjusted to the size of the head. Must have a good ventilation. The
helmet pad should not be humid and contains anti-bacterial agents caused by sweat.
The helmet also has a reflective light to see at night.
Gloves: Cycling gloves are more special than
any other gloves because they have gels, to help reduce friction between hand and
bike hand.

For cycling,
