EZI TILE ADHESIVE STAR FIX C1T GREY 20KGEzi STAR FIX is a premium range, high performance, fine grade, water resistant, normal (1) cementitious adhesive (C) with slip resistance (T). Conforming to the requirements of MS ISO 13007-1, classified as type C1 T. EZI STAR FIX is specially developed to a very unique characteristic , with high performance and good workability to achieve the higer level of expectation. EZI STAR FIX is suitable to use for variety of ceramic tiles, natural stones and mosaic tiles namely for porous tiles, porcelain tiles, vitrified homogeneous tiles, marbles, granites, glass mosaics, ceramic mosaics, etc.
Properties
Consists of grey cement, fine-graded washed silica sand and special additives. Suitable to use for variety of ceramic tiles, natural stones and mosaic tiles. Can use for internal and external, wall and floor, dry and wet areas including water immersion areas. High adhesion strength and good slip resistance. Reduced drying shrinkage. Non-Slump Properties.
Product Usage
Suitable for bed thickness of 3 - 6 mm, and up to 12 mm in small isolated areas. Mix adhesive with water or latex admixture.
Product Tips
Mix Ezi STAR FIX and water/latex admixture with recommended mixing ratio until a smooth and non-slump paste is achieved. Substrate must be dry, flat and free of contaminants, e.g. dust, grease, laitance, oil, paint, etc.
Cautions
Not suitable for use on substrates subjected to high shrinkage, movement, vibration or to install moisture sensitive materials. Not recommended to tile over metal, painted surfaces and skim coat plaster. Installation in very demanding situations where greater adhesion strength and flexibility are required, recommended to mix with latex admixture to replace gauging water. Concrete must be aged for 6 weeks. Direct fixing onto concrete may be adopted provided the surface is flat, cured and free of contamination. Brick Wall or Lightweight Hollow Blocks must be aged for 4 weeks and levelled with cement-sand mortar prior to fixing tiles. Direct fixing is not recommended. Allow new cement-sand render or screed to cure for 2-3 weeks before tiling. The rendering or screeding mortar mix should ideally be 1 part of cement to 3-4 parts of sand. |
