TILE GROUT JORAKAY PREMIUM PLUS 1KG BLACK JADE

Premium Plus Jorakay tile grout is made from Portland cement and special additives; Latex Polymers for greater durability and bonding strength without cracking or shrinkage while leaving no unpleasant odor. This tile grout is designed for all types of tiles over a variety of substrates including exterior and interior installations with up to 7 mm joint width. Plus, the hydrophobic substances is added to enhance the protective properties to inhibit the growth of black fungus for easy maintenance and cleaning.

Recommendation:

For grouting tile of joint width 7 mm with at least 2/3 depth of tile and shall be made after 48 hours of tile installation

Preparation:

Clean and remove any dirt or contaminations remaining in the joints. Make sure the joints are clean and dry before grouting.

Mixing:

Mix 1 kg of grout powder with 0.34 liters of clean water,
Or 3 parts grout to 1 part water (by volume).
Add the grout into the water and mix well by hand or low speed drill.
Allow the grout to slake for 5 minutes, then remix. The mix should be stirred intermittently during application.
Do not add water or grout after this point. If the grout has become too stiff to work, discard it and make a new batch.

Application:

Apply Grout all areas by filling the joints with grout, then using a rubber face trowel and working diagonally across the grout joints. Remove all excess grout with the trowel.
And then, clean tile surfaces with wet sponge and clean cloth.

Curing:

During the first 72 hours, care should be taken to prevent the grout from drying out, by covering the installation with natural kraft paper. Plastic sheeting or newspaper should not be used.

FINAL CLEAN-UP:

After 10 days, the area may be re-cleaned to remove any remaining grout from the surface of the tile. Scrubbing the floor with hot water and soap works best.

It is not recommended that acids be used, as this cause color alteration of the grout joint. If necessary, test in an inconspicuous place first.
Removing stain or polishing the tile should be done after installation at least 30 days and should be tested in an inconspicuous place first.

Storage:

Lasts up to one year if kept dry and away from heat, in a sealed bag.

Product Usage

Properly clean the joints until free from any dirt or residue water to make sure of good bonding and color uniformity before applying the product.

Leave the tile after laid for 24-48 hours before grouting.
